Getting Started
Your club or group can support foster youth and families by hosting a Fashion Fundraiser! Call or email Debra to set a date – 314.367.8373 or debrasmith@foster-adopt.org. Provide a group contact (18 or older) and 4 to 5 volunteers (15 or older) to work at the Fashion Fundraiser.
Distribute your customized flyer with the tracking barcode we provide for your group. Shoppers will present your flyer at checkout on the day of your Fashion Fundraiser. 50% of sales will be donated to your group, and 50% of sales support the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition’s programs for foster youth and families. Your group will receive a check within 30 days for half of the Fashion Fundraiser’s sales!
Take Your Fashion Fundraiser Over the Top!
Create a fashion show with [RE]FRESH styles at [RE]FRESH on our dramatic staircase or at your school to advertise in advance! Get creative… have the show at a Pep Rally or other event – with permission, of course. Bring a DJ to spin your favorite tunes. Yes, we have a DJ loft at [RE]FRESH! Hold a karaoke contest during your Fashion Fundraiser. We’ll gladly give you $20 in [RE]FRESH Rewards for a prize! Create excitement by having a dance team, cheerleading squad, band, poms, etc. perform during your Fashion Fundraiser.

My name is Christina, I am one of the Fashion Merchandising students from Fontbonne University that is producing the ReNew, ReCycle, ReUse [RE]FRESH…ingly Affordable Fashion Show tonight, April 27th as a part of MoneySmart Week. All semester we have been finding models, making choreography, and pulling clothes for the show. The concept of the show is show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look great, and thanks to the amazing clothes at [RE]FRESH, that is possible! Right now, our class is here getting ready for the show. All day we have been busy steaming clothes and rearranging the store for the show. There is a ton of work that has gone into the show, but we are so excited to see the final results. The concept of [RE]FRESH, helping give the kids of the Foster & Adoptive Care not only a place to come and be simply be a kid, but also giving them great clothes at amazing prices is something that our whole class loves.
